Criteria Leader Flevoland LEADER II supports projects of a small-scale nature. In addition, the projects have to comply with a number of criteria. For instance, a project should have a communal appeal, and the local population and local business sector should also be actively involved in the project. An initiative from which only one company or person profits will not be honoured. Neither does the European fund support investment which promotes production. The projects should be of an innovative nature. Progressiveness benefits the renewal of the countryside.
